The Spanish Synagogue is the youngest synagogue in Prague. It was built in the Moorish Revival style in 1868. It was buil on the site of the oldest Jewish house of prayer in Prague (the Old School - Altschul) that dated back to the turn of the 11th and 12th centuries. The earliest records mention it in 1142.
