This is one of the must-sees in Macau. Of course, it’s one of the most popular. It’s like the Merlion or the Petronas. You haven’t been to Macau without seeing this. Before you get here, you have to walk through an uphill path. But you get to marvel at the magnificent Portugese architecture. You could ride a bus or taxi and just tell them that you will go to the ruins or to Senado Square. Senado Square is like a plaza that has a lot of establishments and people as well. There’s a small church here so you could go inside and make a wish. There’s a path that you have to take to get to the ruins. Just follow the people and I’m very much sure you won’t get lost. TIP: If you’re hungry, there are stores along the path offering free samples of jerky and cookies. You can try every sample of each store. I promise you’ll get full after this. When you reach the ruins, you could take some pictures. There’s a museum at the back if you want to enter it as well.
