Of course, one of the places in KL you should not miss. You could take a picture of the facade outside, or you could go up the building. Just a reminder, the area around Petronas closes at around 10 PM, I think. When we were there (during the same time I mentioned) we weren’t allowed to take pictures anymore because the guards said the area was already closed. Anyways, if you plan on going up, the fee would be 85 Ringgit, or around US$ 21. It’s already inclusive of a tour, walking and picture taking at the skybridge, and picture taking on the 86th floor, which is the topmost floor of Petronas. For me, I think it’s worth it, since it’s on my bucketlist. Tours start 9AM everyday, with 15 minute intervals for every batch. The last tour is 8:15 PM. When you buy tickets, they are going to ask you which time slot you would prefer. You may opt to reserve tickets a day before to be assured of a slot. We actually bought tickets for 9 AM the next day during our trip. Bear in mind that many tourists also reserve tickets for the tour. So try your best to go there as early as 8:30 AM to be first in line for the tickets. Or, to be sure sure, go there the day before you plan to go up (Just like what we did). To get here, just ride the Putra Line and alight at KLCC Station. Go inside Suria KLCC Mall and follow the passageway leading to Petronas. To get to the ticket counters, just go down the basement. There are elevators on the left and right sides of the entrance. You can ask if you can’t find it.
