The Van Gogh Museum, located on Museumplein next to the Rijksmuseum and Stedelijk, is home to the largest collection of Vincent Van Gogh's artwork. The museum was founded in 1973 by Van Gogh's nephew, the son of his brother Theo. The collection boasts around 200 paintings, 500 drawings and almost all of his letters.
