Going on a trip alone, especially if you’re a lady, has got to be one of the most exciting and liberating experiences you will ever have in your life. Some folks, especially your close friends and parents, may not approve or like the idea of you traveling solo in an unfamiliar territory because they probably fear that you’ll be a possible target for scams, or that you won’t be able to even read a map. But the truth is, there is nothing a guy can do that we, females, can’t. As a matter of fact, the number of female solo travelers across the number is fast increasing. From the US to the Philippines, more and more women are now starting to notice the immense benefits of traveling solo.
Looking for the ultimate destination in Southeast Asia for a solo female travel adventure? You might want to book a trip to the Philippines. In general, the Philippines is a peaceful nation with hospitable and loving people, and blessed with a wealth of scenic natural wonders. If you’re planning to explore the Philippines on your own, you might want to take a quick look at this list.

A lot of Filipinos have Batanes at the top of their dream destination list in the Philippines. Why? Anyone wanting to travel there will have no choice but to spend a little bit more than usual on airfare due to its inaccessible location. However, the view from the topmost province in the country is worth every penny spent — friendly Ivatans, stone houses, boulder beaches, gentle rolling hills and so much more! Trust me, it’s not like any Philippine destination you’ve ever visited!
Treat yourself to a rejuvenating getaway in Batanes for an affordable price by staying at any of these hotels!
Home to the most conservatives people in the Philippines, Bohol has a non-existent nightlife, which makes it extra safe and ultra appealing to weary solo female travelers who just wish to relax and perhaps do some soul searching.
A tour around most of the island can be done in just a day and that will allow you to see various historic sites (unfortunately many of the old Churches there crumbled to dust after the strong earthquake in 2013) and some adventure destinations. Panglao Island is also a must-see destination but the place doesn’t get as lively as the beaches in the neighboring islands.
